Our Story

2012

Darryl and Jennifer decided to turn their passion for guitar into a proper guitar school. What started as an idea in their kitchen, would soon grow into something much bigger than they imagined...

2014

Lessons split between their Stratford home and a local community centre. Students became friends. Classes turned into jam sessions. Something special was happening.

2017

We found our permanent home in East Village. Dan and Carys joined the team, bringing new energy and expertise. The school wasn't just growing - it was evolving.

2020

When lockdown hit, we adapted overnight. Online lessons weren't perfect, but they kept our community connected when we needed it most. Music became a lifeline.

2022

Returning to in-person teaching reminded us why we started this journey. The energy of students playing together, the spontaneous jams, the laughter between songs - that shared musical experience is the heart of our community.

2025

Ten years in, and we're still guided by our original vision, but we're just getting started. Keep an eye out for something exciting coming this year.
