If you’ve ever felt like there’s a lot to “do” or “correct” in your guitar practice…

Overwhelmed During Guitar Practice? Here’s Why…

There’s a simple five-minute-fix that helps you manage everything you have to work on. (Hint: It has nothing to do with your guitar playing.)

And when you apply this five-minute-fix, it can reduce all the overwhelm and stress around how much you have to work on…

Leaving you feeling more relaxed about what you have to do. (And feel more motivated too!)

If you feel overwhelmed about anything (including with your guitar practice) it’s because of one thing…

Your brain is trying to focus on too many things at once.

It’s overloaded with responsibility and it freaks out. Whether that’s for guitar, or anything else in life.

And there’s only one way to solve it.

It involves a pen and paper.

All you need to do is to take everything that’s in your head, and jot it down on paper.

It sounds so simple… but that’s because it is.

Overwhelmed During Guitar Practice? Here’s Why…

But this act of writing things down isn’t enough for us guitar players…

We need an action plan too.

Once you have all the things you want to get better at written down on paper…

You simply start tackling them one by one. You go tunnel vision on this one problem until it’s solved.

Everything else can wait.

When you do this, you’ll be surprised by two things:

  1. Just how relaxing guitar practice can become…
  1. How much faster you improve because you’re not distracted by every problem.

If you found this interesting...

In September 2021 we had our Annual Big Gig performance.

This is where we hired a venue for our students - kids and adults - to perform a song they had been practicing hard on, along with a session band... professional photographer and videographer... and an audience of over 200 people!

To perform on stage in front of that many people isn't easy...

And our students did brilliantly.

Check out our video below of one of our 10 year old kid students, who performed Californication...

He had only been learning with us (from total beginner) for just under 2 years!..
