This may sound too simple…

But you can get good with only 20 minutes of practice a day… if you know what you're doing.

When I think about how I used to practice. It was a maddening experience.

I would practice for hours and hours on end in the pursuit to try and "get good."

I had some guitar players I idolised at the time. And I used to hear them talk about how many hours they practiced. And how much they gave up to become good at the guitar.

So what do I do?

I put in the hours… hoping I would get good.

And I did… but it took a LONG while. We're talking years (not months.)

As a teacher. I always wanted to find better ways to teach people to get good. Even if they only had 20 minutes a day to practice.

And I found it…

It's all down to how you practice. And what your mind is thinking about.

When I changed to adopt these principles in my own practice. My playing took a massive leap forward...

And I was able to enjoy doing other stuff too.

Now make no mistake about it. These aren't 20 minutes where sitting playing through a song. Or mindlessly going through what I have to do.

They're focused…

This in of itself takes training but it's so worth it.

I'm sharing my knowledge on how I train absolute beginners to get good on the guitar.

And by only practicing for 20 minutes a day. You'll learn exactly how and what to do on a day by day basis.
